Showing Results: The 2007 Show Season has arrived at Berkshire Show Stock Beautiful Saratoga, NY is home to the St. Clement's Horse Show, where Berkshire horses and riders competed in their first show of the Spring/Summer season. Congratulations to the Berkshire horses and riders for an exciting and successful summer. Week 1: Week 2: Margeaux DeVirgilio and her horse, Hasta de la Lande, had a very successful week, including placing fifth in two classes in the Children's Hunters. Nancy Shilling and Fluffy continued to earn ribbons in the equitation divisions, including in a the HBO Adult Medal and a in the Ariat Adult Medal. Lily Hickey and Sedona were quite the team, winning several prizes in the Children's Hunter Pony (Larges) Division, including a fifth place in the Marshall & Sterling Children's Hunter Pony Classic. Aidan Teetor won several ribbons in the Maiden and Novice Equitation divsions aboard his pony, Rocket to Mars. Taylor Knapp rode Beeker to a championship in the Schooling Jumper Division, winning two classes. HITS on the Hudson
Throughout the Circuit, Suzanne McGovern rode Alaska to numerous ribbons in the Novice Adult Equitation, including a second place Week 3. Amadeus and Mary Ford were consistently competitive in the Schooling Hunters and Limit Adult Equitation, earning several prizes. Nancy Shilling was a dominating force in the Adult Equitation classes aboard Fluffy. The pair won several ribbons in the Adult Equitation 46 & over, the Adult Limit Equitation, and The Marshall & Sterling Adult Medal (including second place in Week 3). Also enjoying the show were Caroline and Elizabeth Emerson, who competed in various jumper and equitation classes. Gillian Knapp rode Wyatt during the second and third weeks and placed eighth in two Schooling Hunter classes. During the second week, Alanna Ryan earned a seventh place ribbon in the Short Stirrup hunters on Patches of Snow and Lily Hickey rode her pony, Sedona, to a seventh place in the Large Pony Equitation. For the third week, Becky Swift and her horse, Simon, competed and earned several ribbons in the Novice Adult Hunter. Taylor Knapp rode Beeker to a second place in the Level 3 Jumpers and a third place in the Marshall & Sterling Adult Jumper Classic. Throughout the series Leslie Teetor rode her horse Capricorn in the Level 5 Jumper Division, earning seventh and eighth place ribbons. Where Will We Be Next? |
